Philipsburg Location ClosureAdmissions Department StatementThe South Hills School of Business & Technology Philipsburg campus will be closing its doors on August 31, 2013 in response to the decrease in population in the Philipsburg area. Opened in 1996, at the request of Philipsburg area community members, South Hills-Philipsburg has produced over 247 graduates and has a current enrollment of 41 students. The smallest of the South Hills campuses, South Hills-Philipsburg employs a faculty and staff of 8 people. Although the population in Philipsburg is not able to sustain a school of this size, South Hills remains committed to the Philipsburg area residents for meeting their educational needs. Graduates of the Philipsburg-Osceola High School seeking to attend one of the other South Hills campuses in the future, will now be eligible to apply for the Rudy J. Labor Memorial Scholarship held through the Centre Foundation. Click here for scholarship fund details.
