Requirements for Application to South Hills

Requirements for All Applicants

• Submit your Online Application.
• Contact your high school to have your official transcript mailed to directly to South Hills.

• GED Transcripts must be requested in writing from the Department of Education. If you have completed high school through 10th grade, your high school transcript is also required.

• If applicable, request your official post-secondary transcripts. Contact the college, university, or institute to arrange for your Academic Transcript and course descriptions (for possible credit transfer) to be mailed directly to South Hills.
• All applicants must complete the Entrance Assessment.
• Once accepted, you will be mailed an acceptance letter and an Enrollment Agreement that must be signed and returned to South Hills. A student is not considered enrolled at South Hills until we have received the SIGNED Enrollment Agreement.

Some of our programs have additional requirements (see below). Providing class space still remains, quick completion of these steps will help to secure your seat in the program of your choice. All requirements are subject to change, so please double check with your Admissions Representative.

Criminal Justice Additional Requirements:

• Must Pass a Criminal Background Check *
• Must Pass a Child Abuse Clearance *

Diagnostic Medical Sonography Additional Requirements:

• Resume
• SAT Scores (recommended, not required)
• DMS Faculty Interview
• Two Letters of Recommendtion

Graphic Arts Additional Requirements:

• Must Submit Portfolio of Artwork Samples

Health Information Technology Additional Requirements:

Medical Assistant Additional Requirements:

Medical Office Specialist Additional Requirements:
