Career Services

Our Career Services Office offers services to all students and graduates, providing a wealth of resources and information. Since many students are unsure of their career goals, we encourage them to acquaint themselves with our office so we can help them through the process of finding the right job. Because our programs are so highly regarded in the area, we get a number of calls and requests from employers who have had success with our graduates in the past. Some of our services include:

Penn State Partnership
Over the last five years South Hills School of Business and Technology has developed a collaborative partnership with Penn State University. Our business relationship has benefited students and Penn State to on-going success. More often than not, student internships can transition into full time employment at Penn State. Our mutual success can be summarized this way: "skilled students yield competent employees".

Job Fairs
Over 50 companies participate in our annual job fair, held in the spring. What's more, most of these companies are represented by our own graduates who are now looking for new recruits.

Employer Relations
Career Services representatives maintain strong relationships with many area employers and staffing services. These relationships often result in job opportunities for our students and graduates.

Business Guests
We bring in a variety of employers from the region to talk about their companies and what they're looking for in new employees.

Job Search Class
A mandatory class for all students where they learn how to write a resume and participate in mock job interviews.
