Penn State Partnership
From the early days of South Hills, an informal network of contacts at Penn State made it possible for South Hills interns to apply their skills and obtain real world work experience with the largest employer in Central PA.
As South Hills grew and Penn State’s need for qualified, well-trained applicants increased, a more formal arrangement, known as PSU Days at South Hills, was introduced in January 2000. The result of this partnership with Penn State has opened the door for many South Hills graduates to not only get a job but to begin a career at the University.
The year 2010 will mark the 10-year anniversary of this successful partnership.
We thought this milestone deserved some celebrating! On Wednesday, November 4th, we invited all South Hills graduates who currently work for Penn State to join us on the Penn State Old Main lawn for a photograph.
