Nicet Highway Inspection Series

South Hills School has teamed up with Stahl Sheaffer Engineering, LLC to bring you this high-powered training right here in State College. All highway construction and bridge projects need skilled Nicet Certified Inspectors. In 26 Weeks you can be one... just in time for the Spring 2009 Construction Season!!! Classes will meet Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6-9 p.m., and occasional Saturday field trips to job sites. August 19, 2008 is the start date and you will finish March 18, 2009.

Coursework includes:

  • Mapreading
  • Surveying
  • Workzone Traffic Control
  • Surfacing, Grading
  • OSHA
  • Sampling and Testing
