Criminal Justice students from South Hills Lewistown recently attended a seminar presented by PA Lieutenant Governor Mike Stack to learn more about the state's "Pathway to Pardons" initiative, which aims to streamline the process of obtaining a pardon for citizens in long-term recovery to help them get a second chance at life.

Information Technology instructor, Guido Santella, took 6 students and 1 alumnus from South Hills School of Business & Technology's Altoona campus to participate in a creative 24-hour learning experience at HackPSU, a “hackathon” event hosted by Penn State University where students can learn to code or experienced programmers can compete to build something from scratch.
