South Hills Digital Art Gallery to Honor Memory of Graduate Who Died Last Year

Words like “bubbly,” positive,” “outgoing,” and “kind-hearted,” were just some of what Kari Schlegel’s friends had to say about her. They also said it’s fitting that an online art exhibit created by people affiliated with South Hills School of Business & Technology was recently named in her memory.

Health Careers Club Secures Life-Saving Devices for Altoona Campus

The Health Careers Club at South Hills Altoona recently raised money to purchase a life-saving automated external defibrillator (AED) for the school. Their generosity was matched by the Mazza family for the purchase a second device, so both of the Altoona campus buildings will now have an AED on site.

South Hills School of Business & Technology will open the 28th season of its Summer Music Picnic Series on Sunday, June 4, 2017. This year's opening show will include a memorial tribute to the long and extraordinary life of Mrs. Grace B. Holderman, who passed in 2015 at the age of 102.

On February 16, 2017, Jeff Stachowski was named “Volunteer of the Year” by the Chamber of Business & Industry of Centre County (CBICC) at its 3rd annual Membership Recognition Night. Jeff was selected for this award because of the hard work he does throughout the year to enrich the entire business community in Centre County.
