Local Teens Become Certified Droneologists

South Hills School of Business & Technology is pleased to announce the graduation of its first class of “Droneologists” from the new Discover Drones program, a STEM class series for teens. Six local teens completed the 20-hour course which included hands-on learning using flight simulator software, as well as drone building and flying experience.

South Hills Main Campus Announces New Technology Open House

South Hills School of Business & Technology will hold a Technology Open House on Thursday, April 19 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Main Campus. The event is open to the public and will offer demonstrations and exhibits featuring the Information Technology program, the Engineering Technology program, and Drone Initiative non-credit classes and events.

South Hills Information Technology Students Tour GoHost, LLC

Information Technology students from South Hills School of Business & Technology’s Lewistown campus toured GoHost, LLC, a local company that offers disaster recovery hosting and management services to a variety of government agencies, financial institutions, and private businesses across the country. One of the hosts of the tour, GoHost Network Administrator, Brad Bell, is an alumnus of South Hills.
