STATE COLLEGE — South Hills School of Business & Technology is proud to announce that Jamey Shreckengast, a 2nd-year Administrative Professional student from Millheim, PA, has been awarded the 2018 Philanthropic Educational Organization (P.E.O.) Chapter S Scholarship.
The P.E.O. Chapter S of State College is part of P.E.O., an international philanthropic organization which, through scholarships, grants, awards, and loans, educates women for advancement. The Chapter S of State College awards a scholarship each year to a deserving nominee. The candidate must be female, a Centre County resident, attending an institution of higher education, show financial need, and maintain a qualified GPA. The candidate need not be a member of the P.E.O.
“We are grateful to P.E.O for providing this scholarship opportunity to our students the organization’s support of women’s education,” said LeRoy Spicer, South Hills Financial Aid Administrator. Scholarship winner, Jamey Shrenkengast, added, “This scholarship will make a big difference for my family and me, and I’m honored to have been selected by the committee members.”
