South Hills Community News Release

LEWISTOWN, PA – South Hills School of Business & Technology’s first-year Medical Assistant (MA) students recently visited the new Primary Health Network (PHN) location in Lewistown.

Patricia Davidson, the Outreach Specialist at PHN, gave the students a tour of the facility and discussed the clinic’s goals for the community. She also told them about the numerous medical offices set to be opened in the location in the future.

MA Program Coordinator/Instructor, Laina DeCriscio, added, “This experience was a great opportunity for my students to get a glimpse into a potential future work environment. The trip was so well-received by the students that some of them are considering completing their South Hills internships at PHN.”
