STATE COLLEGE, PA – Members of South Hills School of Business & Technology’s Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) Club are celebrating after a successful trip to San Antonio, TX where they participated in the 2019 PBL National Leadership Conference.
PBL is a collegiate business organization that strives to develop a new generation of leaders. After competing against some of the top qualifiers from across the country, South Hills students placed in the following categories:
- Administrative Professional student, Jenie Engle: 1st place in Help Desk
- Administrative Professional student, Jamey Shreckengast: 2nd Place in Administrative Technology
- Business Administration—Accounting student, Brandon Doerr: 10th Place in Forensic Accounting
- Brandon Doerr, Jenie Engle, and Jamey Shreckengast
- Jenie Engle, First place in Help Desk
- Jamey Shreckengast, Second Place in Administrative Technology
- Brandon Doerr, Tenth Place in Forensic Accounting

Other South Hills representatives at this years conference were Business Administration–Management & Marketing students, Bryant Moses and Jordan Causer.
In addition to the multiple awards received, Brandon Doerr successfully campaigned and won election to the office of Pennsylvania State PBL President for the upcoming 2019-20 academic year.
