STATE COLLEGE, PA – Each Specialized Associate Degree program at South Hills School of Business & Technology requires students to complete a 12-week internship (24 weeks for Diagnostic Medical Sonography/DMS students) upon completion of their program.
With graduation just around the corner, students invited their internship supervisors to a luncheon held in their honor at Mountain View Country Club in Boalsburg. This annual event is the school's way of saying "thank you" to the dedicated internship sites that continue to take its students and provide them with invaluable real-world working experience in their respective fields.

As part of the luncheon, Jennifer Lemmon, Health Information Technology intern, spoke about her experiences throughout her time at South Hills, as well as the experience she has had at her internship thus far, and she gave many thanks to the South Hills faculty and staff.
Bernard Chatman, Owner of Keystone Investigation & Security Specialists, LLC (KISS), presented Annie Lucas, Criminal Justice student, with a certificate for successfully completing her internship at KISS and announced that she has accepted a full-time position with the company.
