Two-Year Associate in Specialized Technology (AST) Program

Available at the State College and Altoona Campuses

The demand for skilled software developers and programmers continues to increase as new technologies emerge. The Software Development and Programming program at South Hills will teach you the skills necessary to succeed in this rewarding career field. You will learn current programming languages like Java, Java script, Python, C#, PHP and more!

You’ll be working with desktop and mobile operating systems. You’ll gain experience in database design and building websites. Our hands-on training ensures you’ll get to practice the skills you are learning.

Graduates will earn an Associate in Specialized Technology degree. In addition to the intensive curriculum, students will benefit from the real-world internships required to graduate, which will allow them to hone their skills in a working environment.
