FREE Ultrasound Scan
The South Hills Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program is seeking pregnant volunteers for free obstetric ultrasound scans. These free, non-diagnostic ultrasound scans are performed by sonography students for training purposes. We warmly welcome all pregnant individuals interested in volunteering to sign up for an appointment!
Once slots are full, they will no longer be listed on the registration form.
Dates & Times:
Mondays and Wednesdays will have two appointment slots, and Tuesday and Thursdays will have three appointment slots.:

Volunteer Qualifications/ Requirements:
- 8 week- 36-week pregnancies preferred.
- Volunteer must be at least 18 years old.
- Pregnancy must be confirmed by volunteer’s provider. Via ultrasound or in office/lab testing.
- Ultrasound images can be obtained and sent to volunteers via email.
- Volunteers understand that NO guests are permitted to attend ultrasound.
- If you are unable to attend scan, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance.
- If your fetus has any known anomalies, please indicate what they are on the registration form.
- You can sign up for up to 3 dates throughout your pregnancy.
- Sign liability waver form.
Volunteers Must provide:
- First day of last normal menstrual cycle
- Estimated due date
- Phone number and email address
