Students may be eligible for grants and loans provided he/she file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Most organizations that assist students with grants/scholarships will also require that the student complete the FAFSA. Applicants may file a FAFSA as early as October 1 for an upcoming academic year. For example, student applicants may file a FAFSA as early as October 1, 2018 for the 2019-2020 academic year.
